Your business prayer journal is the place where you partner with God to build your business. It’s your space for prayer, planning, and praise. Use this guide to set up your journal and write your first entry. You can use a physical notebook or a digital document—whatever works best for you.
Part 1: Choose Your Journal
Select a journal that you love, one that feels special and dedicated to this purpose. This is a sacred space.
Part 2: The Dedication Page
On the first page of your journal, write a prayer of dedication. This is you officially making God the CEO of your business. Here is a sample prayer you can use or adapt:
A Prayer of Dedication
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and anticipation. Thank you for the gifts, talents, and passions you have placed inside of me. Thank you for the call to create and to build.
Today, I dedicate my business, [Your Business Name], to you. I surrender my plans, my ambitions, my fears, and my finances to your loving care. I invite you to be the CEO, the Chief Strategist, and the Chairman of the Board. This is Your business, and I am Your steward.
I ask for your wisdom to guide my decisions, your creativity to inspire my work, and your favor to open doors that no man can shut. Help me to build a business that not only prospers financially but also advances Your kingdom and brings glory to Your name.
May everything I do be an act of worship. May my business be a ministry of love to my customers and a testimony of your goodness to the world.
In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen.
