Lesson 2.1: The Expert Mindset Prompt

(Video Intro - Upbeat, energetic music)

[SCENE START]

Host (Creator): (Smiling warmly at the camera, sitting in a well-lit, stylish home office)

Hey, what's up, you guys! Welcome back to the AI-Powered Entrepreneur. I am so excited for this module, because we are diving deep into the how. Module 1 was all about the mindset, the why behind using AI as a good and faithful steward of the gifts God has given you. Now, we get to the fun part: making the AI actually work for you.

And listen, I'm going to tell you something that might be a little bit of a hot take. If you've been playing around with AI and you're not getting the results you want, it's probably because you're asking it the wrong way. You're treating it like a search engine, not a team member.

(Leans in closer to the camera, conspiratorially)

But that's all about to change. Because today, I'm giving you the keys to the kingdom. This is the single most powerful prompting technique I have ever used, and it is going to completely transform the way you work with AI. I call it the Expert Mindset Prompt.

The Problem with "Normal" Prompts

So, what do most people do when they open up Claude? They type something like: "Write me a blog post about email marketing."

(On-screen text shows a basic prompt: "Write me a blog post about email marketing.")

And what do they get back? Something... fine. It's generic. It's boring. It sounds like a robot wrote it, because, well, a robot did. It's the kind of content that gets zero engagement and makes you think, "See? AI is just not that good."

And you know what? You're right. If you use it like that, it's not. That's why I say ChatGPT is bottom of the barrel. It's trained people to have low expectations. We're not doing that here. We're here to multiply our impact, remember? We're building businesses with AI, not just playing with AI toys.

The problem with that basic prompt is that you're asking the AI to be a generalist. You're asking it to pull from the vast, messy, average-level information it was trained on. You're not giving it a role, a perspective, or a standard of quality.

The Shift: From Intern to Expert

This is where the magic happens. The single most powerful prompting technique is making the AI think as the subject matter expert whose output you want.

Think about it. If you wanted world-class advice on your business, would you ask a random person on the street? No! You'd go to a seasoned expert, someone who has been in the trenches for years.

We're going to do the exact same thing with our AI. We're not hiring a clueless intern. We are summoning a board of expert advisors, on demand.

Instead of "Write me a blog post," we're going to say, "Act as a world-class copywriter with 15 years of experience writing for multi-million dollar beauty brands. Your voice is witty, aspirational, and deeply knowledgeable about skincare ingredients. Now, write a blog post about the top 5 myths of anti-aging."

(On-screen text shows the Expert Mindset Prompt)

See the difference? We gave it a Role, Experience, a Voice, and a Task. We gave it an identity.

[DOUBLE-CLICK MOMENT]

This is about stewardship. God gave you a unique message and a unique calling. You don't have to water it down with generic, soulless content. By telling the AI who to be, you are guiding it to create content that is worthy of your brand and your audience. You are leading it, just like you lead your business.

How to Build Your Expert Mindset Prompt

It's super simple. There are four key ingredients:

  1. The Role: Who is the AI? A copywriter? A business strategist? A social media manager? A pastor with 30 years of experience in biblical counseling?
  2. The Experience/Credentials: What makes them an expert? "You have a PhD in theology from Duke Divinity School." "You have scaled 3 different e-commerce brands to 7-figures." "You are an editor with 30 years of publishing experience."
  3. The Voice/Style: How do they sound? "Your tone is warm, encouraging, and full of grace." "Your writing is direct, punchy, and uses Gen Z slang." "You write like a seasoned journalist for the New York Times."
  4. The Task: What do you want them to do? "Write a 5-part email sequence." "Create a content calendar for the next month." "Critique this sales page and give me 3 actionable improvements."

Let's break it down with another example.

Goal: I want to create an Instagram carousel about finding your purpose.

Basic Prompt: "Write an Instagram carousel about finding your purpose." (Yawn.)

Expert Mindset Prompt:

Act as a Christian life coach and bestselling author who specializes in helping women discover their God-given calling. You have a gift for making deep biblical truths feel practical and relatable. Your voice is like a wise, encouraging big sister. Your task is to write a 5-slide Instagram carousel titled 'Stop Searching, Start Serving: 3 Steps to Find Your Purpose Today.' Make it actionable, inspiring, and rooted in scripture.

Do you feel the difference? The second one is going to give you something you can actually use. Something that sounds like you. Something that serves your audience with excellence.

Your Turn: Write 5 Expert Mindset Prompts

Okay, now it's time to put this into practice. This isn't about just learning; it's about doing. Remember, AI use is not laziness, it's stewardship in action. It makes you more efficient so you can focus on the things only YOU can do.

I want you to open up Claude and write five different Expert Mindset Prompts for your own business. Think about the tasks you do every week. Think about the content you need to create. Who is the expert you wish you could have on your team?

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • For Social Media: An expert social media strategist for your specific niche.
  • For Email Marketing: A top-tier email copywriter who specializes in your industry.
  • For Product Creation: An instructional designer who creates engaging and transformative online courses.
  • For Strategy: A seasoned business coach who has helped brands like yours scale.
  • For Content Ideation: A viral content creator who understands the algorithm of your favorite platform.

Activity:

  1. Open your workbook to the "Lesson 2.1: Expert Mindset Prompts" section.
  2. Brainstorm 5 tasks you need help with in your business.
  3. For each task, craft a detailed Expert Mindset Prompt. Use the four ingredients: Role, Experience, Voice, and Task.
  4. Go to Claude (remember, it's our #1 for content!) and test them out.
  5. Copy and paste one of the AI's responses into your workbook and reflect: How was the output different from a basic prompt? What did you learn?

Don't be afraid to get specific! The more detail you give the AI, the better the result will be.

[DOUBLE-CLICK MOMENT]

This is where you get to be the director, the CEO of your content. You are setting the vision. You are calling forth excellence. This is not about letting a robot take over; it's about equipping yourself with a divine multiplier to get your message out into the world.

So go ahead, pause this video, and go build your team of AI experts. I'll be here when you get back.
