(Scene: Same as before. The creator is standing now, perhaps near a whiteboard or a digital screen where the four archetype names can be displayed.)

Creator: Welcome back! Now that you’ve audited your money story, it’s time to understand your money personality. This is one of my favorite topics because it brings so much clarity so quickly.

We all have a dominant pattern of behavior when it comes to money—a kind of financial default setting. We call these “Money Archetypes.” An archetype is just a model or a type. By identifying yours, you can understand your strengths, your weaknesses, and the specific fears that are most likely to trip you up on your journey to wealth.

While there are many complex systems out there, we’re going to focus on four simple, powerful archetypes that I’ve seen show up again and again in women of faith.

As I describe them, resist the urge to judge. Just listen. See which one resonates most deeply with your soul. You might see a little of yourself in all of them, but one will feel like home.

Creator: First, we have The Martyr.

(Text on screen: THE MARTYR)

Creator: The Martyr is the ultimate caregiver. She is always focused on taking care of others, often to her own financial detriment. She feels guilty spending money on herself and believes it’s more “spiritual” to put everyone else’s needs first. Her greatest fear is being seen as selfish. The Martyr’s path to healing is learning that her needs are not only valid but that meeting them first allows her to give from a place of overflow, not depletion.

Creator: Second, we have The Innocent.

(Text on screen: THE INNOCENT)

Creator: The Innocent avoids looking at her finances altogether. She puts her head in the sand, hoping someone else will handle it or that it will all just magically work out. She feels overwhelmed by financial details and fears making the “wrong” decision. The Innocent’s journey is about empowerment—taking small, consistent steps to understand her money, knowing that God has given her the wisdom to be a good steward.

Creator: Third, is The Warrior.

(Text on screen: THE WARRIOR)

Creator: The Warrior is a conqueror. She is driven, ambitious, and excellent at making money. She’s a hustler, a builder, an achiever. She feels powerful when she is in control of her finances. Her biggest challenge is that her self-worth can become tangled up in her net worth. She fears failure and can be prone to burnout. The Warrior’s path is learning to find her rest and identity in Christ, not just in her accomplishments.

Creator: And finally, we have The Fool.

(Text on screen: THE FOOL)

Creator: Now, this name sounds harsh, but it’s not about being stupid. The Fool is a gambler, a risk-taker. She’s always looking for the next hot tip or quick fix that will solve all her money problems. She’s an optimist, but she often acts impulsively, chasing shiny objects without a solid plan. She fears missing out. The Fool’s healing comes from cultivating discernment and discipline, learning to build wealth steadily instead of always chasing a windfall.

Creator: The Martyr, The Innocent, The Warrior, The Fool.

Do you see yourself in one of these? To help you get clear, I’ve created a quick “Money Archetype Quiz” for you. It’s the next activity in this module.

Your assignment is to take the quiz to identify your dominant archetype. And then, I want you to do something brave. Share your result in the community. You will be amazed at how many other women share your same struggles and strengths. This is how we break the shame and isolation around money—by bringing it into the light, together.

Go take the quiz, and I’ll see you in the next lesson where we will go even deeper into the spiritual root of all of this.
