(Scene: The setting is slightly more intimate. The creator is sitting, perhaps in a different chair, with a serious but compassionate expression. The lighting is soft.)
Creator: Hi, and welcome back. We’ve uncovered our stories. We’ve identified our archetypes. Now, we go to the root. The single spiritual root from which all scarcity, in every area of your life, grows.
I want you to really hear this. This is the core of everything we are doing here.
Scarcity—whether it’s with money, with love, with time, with opportunities—is not your natural state. It is a spiritual condition. And it has one name: Fear.
Fear is the source of all lack. Why? Because fear is the opposite of love. And God is love. Therefore, fear, in its purest form, is the absence of God. It is a state of spiritual amnesia where we forget who He is, and therefore, who we are.
I want to share something with you that is at the very heart of my own journey and the foundation of this ministry.
Creator (quoting herself, with deep conviction): "The spiritual roots of scarcity and lack are very wide, but they all come down to one core idea and that idea is fear. Fear is the absence of love. If you are fearful, you don't believe in love, which means you don't believe in God. You have doubt... if you experience scarcity and lack in the world of your emotions, that same energy now has access to every other part of your life. That is the truth. And so even you'll find that your relationship with people is closely mirrored by your relationship with your money, your relationship with food is closely mirrored by your relationship with money because you've opened the door or the door is open for scarcity and luck to enter."
Creator: Did you hear that? Fear is a door. Once you open it in one area of your life—say, a fear of not being loved—that same spirit of scarcity can walk right into your finances, your health, your business. It’s all connected.
If you fear that you are not enough, you will fear that you don’t have enough.
If you fear that you will be abandoned, you will hoard your money, afraid that it too will leave you.
If you fear that you are unworthy, you will feel guilty when you prosper, and you will find ways to sabotage your own success.
This is why just learning to budget or create a business plan isn’t enough. You can have the best strategies in the world, but if you are operating from a place of fear, you will always find a way to recreate scarcity. It’s a spiritual problem that requires a spiritual solution.
The solution is to consciously, intentionally, choose love instead. To choose God instead. To starve the fear and feed your faith.
This begins with awareness. So for your activity in this lesson, I want you to take some time for a journaling exercise. The prompt is below this video.
I want you to ask yourself, with radical honesty: “Where has fear shown up in my life?” Think about your finances, yes, but also your relationships, your career, your dreams. How has this fear impacted your sense of self-worth?
This is deep work, I know. But this is where true freedom begins. By facing the fear, you take back its power. You bring it into the light of God’s love, and in that light, it cannot survive.
Take your time with this. Be gentle with yourself. I’ll see you in our final lesson for this module.
