Hello, and welcome to our final lesson in this foundational module. We’ve journeyed through our stories, our archetypes, and the spiritual root of fear. Now, I want to share with you one of the most powerful and practical mindset shifts that has radically transformed my own relationship with money. It’s a secret I learned not in a business school, but in the high-pressure world of day trading.
For a season of my life, I was a day trader. And let me tell you, there is no faster way to come face-to-face with your own greed, fear, and desperation than when you are watching your own money fluctuate by the second. It is a spiritual crucible.
And here is the most important lesson I learned:
Creator (quoting herself, with a tone of earned wisdom): "As a day trader, I have learned so much about the heart, greed, fear, FOMO, and everything in between. If you focus on money, you will never have it... If you have an attachment to money, an emotional attachment to money, you are setting yourself up for lifelong failure. Money does not matter. Money is a resource. Money is water. Water never runs dry, unless the source runs dry and our source cannot run dry. So money is circulating constantly and forever. If you think about money, you will lose sight of what it's for, which is to empower what you're doing... if I'm in a trade and I'm thinking about money, my discernment is clouded by my desperation. So never enter a business thinking about how much money you'll make. It's not about the money. It's about your system, your ability to follow the system, knowing that the system tends to generate monetary reward."
Creator: Let that sink in. It’s not about the money. It’s about the system.
When I was a new trader, I was obsessed with the money. I would watch my profit and loss, and my heart would race. If a trade was going up, I’d feel euphoric. If it went down, I’d feel sick with panic. My emotions were completely attached to the outcome, and because of that, I made terrible decisions. I would sell too early out of fear, or hold on too long out of greed. My desperation clouded my discernment.
Everything changed when I learned to detach emotionally from the money and focus only on my trading system. My system was a set of pre-defined rules for when to enter a trade, when to take profit, and when to cut losses. My only job was to follow the system with 100% discipline, regardless of how I felt.
When I focused on executing the system flawlessly, the money became a byproduct. It was just the result. The focus was on the process, not the prize.
This is the secret for you as a Biblically Rich Girl. Your business, your career, your job—that is your system. Your “system” is the unique way you create value in the world. It’s the quality of your work, the excellence of your service, the integrity of your character.
Your focus should not be on “how much money can I make?” Your focus must be, “how well can I execute my system?” How can you love your customer with excellence? How can you deliver your gift with integrity? How can you manage your operations with wisdom?
When you focus on your system, you are emotionally detached from the money. You see it for what it is: a resource, not the Source. It’s just water, flowing in and out. And because you know the Source (God) is infinitely abundant, you don’t have to panic when the water level is low, or get arrogant when it’s high. You just keep tending to your system, trusting that it will generate the resources needed to fulfill your vision.
To help you apply this, I’ve created the “Emotional Detachment” worksheet. It will guide you in identifying the key parts of your own “system” and creating practical steps to focus on the process, not the profit.
Complete that worksheet. This is the final piece of our foundational work in Module 1. You have done an incredible job laying the groundwork for a completely new financial reality.
I am so proud of you. I’ll see you in Module 2, where we will begin to build your new mindset on this solid foundation.
(Calming instrumental track fades back in and plays for a few seconds before fading out.)
